Leading Teams for
High Performance
The High Functional Teams Programme is an interactive and science-based workshop designed to help leaders dismantle dysfunctions and embed trust as the foundation of team culture. At its core, the programme applies Patrick Lencioni’s Five Dysfunctions of a Team and David Maister’s Trust Equation. Participants learn to recognise behaviours that erode trust, manage conflict constructively, foster accountability and align teams around shared results. Compassionate empathy and structured problem-solving approaches are also introduced to balance care with accountability and drive sustainable collaboration.
It blends emotional intelligence, trust-building frameworks and collaborative problem-solving tools with experiential activities to strengthen accountability, cohesion and performance.
By the end of the programme, leaders are expected to:
-
Build trust-driven collaboration – fostering transparency, psychological safety and shared purpose.
-
Address team dysfunctions – overcoming fear of conflict, lack of commitment, avoidance of accountability and inattention to results.
-
Apply the Trust Equation – balancing credibility, reliability, intimacy and self-orientation to strengthen authentic relationships.
-
Manage conflict effectively – transforming disagreements into constructive dialogue and collaboration.
-
Practice collaborative problem-solving – using structured approaches to define issues clearly and implement joint solutions.
-
Embed accountability through trust – shifting accountability from enforcement to empowerment.
In short, it’s not just about fixing dysfunctions but about transforming teams into cohesive, motivated and trust-based units that deliver results through openness, accountability and mutual respect.

"The strength of the team is each individual member.
The strength of each member is the team."
- Phil Jackson
